I am looking to update the web site. Does anyone have any recent (this year) pictures of the fisheries. I am looking for landscape views to show off the fisheries

Shame this didnt get asked in the summer when venues were in their prime....they will look a bit drab now!

Although not pictures it would be useful if the maps/directions (on the website) had a SAT NAV location on them!

Not being a regular reader of the angling press I have not seen the picture. Was it caught on a URACS fishery. If so any chance of a copy of the original for the web site.

3hour fight!! Nice fish I agree...from a (very weedy) Hertfordshire Lake! Page 9 of Anglers Mail...

yes mate, they didnt print all the details but it did take 3 hrs to land.....i had a stuttery take and i hit it, that was it !! it didnt do anything and as i thought it was a carp weeded me up i left it...and that was the result !!! it was massive and i probably wont ever catch a bream like it again, but you never know along the valley as there are a few very big bream that dont get caught at all, for example, that one i had was the first bream to have been caught from anyones knowledge on that water !!!! just goes to show dont it.....you never know whats gonna happen.
i wouldnt mind betting that the aky would throw up a biggy soon.....ad em upto 11.14 on carp gear !! and it looked quite fresh so to speak, could possibly do a 15, wouldnt mind giving it a proper go as i know they are big in there.

I am not one for checking ambient data prior to fishing... I go when I can.
However, a friend "WOT KNOWS" says that moonstrikes, temperature,pressure, chicken bones and tea leafs all indicate that " MANY FISH WILL BE CAUGHT IN THE COLNE VALLEY TOMORROW"
Mumbo Jumbo ???...... we shall see !!!!

I have just posted the latest competition in a new format. On line it runs a lot slower than the trial version.

Any comments would be much appriciated. I have some ideas on how to speed it up so comments on the layout would help me most

The new format looks great, I checked the individual photo selection and run the slide show.
Even with my steam driven computer all worked well.

Works fine on my laptop, the speed of the slideshow seems fine to me...wow, I'm on the internet! lol

What is the picture (which stretch of river) in the background?

It is the URACS stretch of the colne at Denham looking downstream from the cattle drink towards the weir

This weeks Anglers Mail saw our honerable sec. Chris Gadsden's Crucian featured... what a fish.

Also in the Mail, Ian Welch being less than generous about the Angling Trust... Very sorry to read that, If the AT fails, we better all go buy some golf clubs.
